உலகம் முழுவதிலும் மறுபடியும்பிறந்த விசுவாசிகள் அழிந்துபோய்க் கொண்டிருக்கிறார்கள். இல்லை… அவர்கள் பாவத்தில் அழிந்துபோகவில்லை. ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவின் மூலம் இரட்சிப்பை அவர்கள் ஏற்றுக் கொண்டிருக்கிறார்கள். அவர்கள் திருச்சபை ஆராதனைகளில் கலந்துகொள்கிறார்கள். வேதாகமத்தை படிக்கிறார்கள். திருச்சபைத் தலைவர்களாகக்கூட இருக்கிறார்கள். ஆனால், அவர்கள் ஆவிக்குரிய நிலையில் மரித்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிறார்கள். விசுவாசிகள் என்ற நிலையில் அவர்கள் வழக்கமான வாழ்க்கையையே வாழ்ந்து கொண்டிருக்கிறார்கள். ஆவிக்குரிய பரவசம் அவர்களுக்கு இல்லை. அவர்களுக்கு குறிக்கோளோ அல்லது நோக்கமோ இல்லை. அவர்களுக்கு எந்த தரிசனமும் இல்லை.

நாம் பேசுகிற தரிசனம் என்பது ஒரு கனவில் (டிரான்ஸ்) வெளிப்படையாக தெரியும் ஒன்றல்ல. அது இயற்கை பார்வையும் இல்லை. அது ஒரு ஆவிக்குரிய தரிசனமாக உள்ளது. ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வில் இறந்தநிலையில் இருக்கும் ஆண்களையும் பெண்களையும், தேவன் ஆவிக்குரிய நிலையில் உயிரோட்டமுள்ளவர்களாய் மாற்றுகிறார். தரிசனம் என்பது வாழ்க்கைக்கு புதிய அர்த்தத்தையும் திசைகாட்டுதல்களையும் கொடுக்கிறது. அது உண்மையான திருச்சபையாகிய கிறிஸ்துவின் சரீரத்தை பொதுவான நோக்கத்தில் இணைக்கிறது.

“தரிசனத்தை” எவ்வாறு சரியாக விளக்கிச் சொல்லலாம் ?

தேவன்கொடுத்த தரிசனத்திற்கு தனது சுய முயற்சியின் மூலமாய் ஆபிரகாம், தன்னுடைய சுதந்தரத்திற்கு ஒரு சுதந்தரவாளியை கொண்டுவர முயற்சித்தார். தன்னை ஒரு பெரிய ஜாதியாக மாற்ற தேவன் விரும்புகிறார் என்பதை ஆபிரகம் அறிந்திருந்தார். தனது மனைவியாகிய சாராள் மூலமாக தனக்கு ஒரு சுதந்தரவாளி வரமுடியாது என்று நினைத்தார். அதற்காக அவர் ஒன்று செய்தார். எனவே __ (ஆதியாகமம் 16 :11) பிறந்தான்.

தேவன்:

நன்மையான எல்லாவற்றிற்கும் தேவனே ஆதாரமாயிருக்கிறார். தேவன் எவ்வாறு செயல்படுகிறார் என்பதை வரையறுக்க அவருக்கு குணாதிசயங்கள் இருக்கின்றன. இந்த உலகத்திற்கு தேவன் எவ்வாறு இருக்கிறார் என்பதை நமது தரிசனம் பிரதிபலிக்க அவசியமாயுள்ளது. அப்படியென்றால், தேவனுடைய தெய்வீக குணாதிசயங்களுக்கு ஏற்றபடி நமது தரிசனம் இருக்கவேண்டும். “நாம் என்ன செய்வோம், தேவனுடைய கிரியைகளை செய்வதற்கு நாம் என்ன செய்ய வேண்டும்?” என்று கேட்கும்போது, கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு, _____________ அவர், அவர் மட்டுமே ஆதாரம் என்று சொன்னார். WEDDINGS AT MIRACLE FAMILY TEMPLE

Marriage is significant to God is because it is part of His ordained plan to provide the world with a picture of His love for men and women. [1] Marriage is sacred covenant and divinely ordained to reflect the relationship between Christ and His Church [2] . Therefore, all of the plans for your wedding should reflect the sacredness of that covenant.

We will provide instruction and guidance concerning sexual purity, beginning with our youth and encompassing the entire church body;

Marriage preparation based on God’s Word to all engaged couples;
Encouragement and opportunities for existing marriages to be strengthened;
Help for marriages that may be experiencing difficulty;
Encouragement and opportunities for blended families to succeed in having strong marriage

Principles of Marriage

It is our desire that your marriage be the happiest relationship possible, and that it be all God intended it to be.

God created man and woman in His Image, and united them in Holy Matrimony so that each might give what the other lacked alone. Since God designed the marriage relationship, it makes sense that He knows best how to build a happy marriage.

As we read His Word, we are able to discern basic principles which must be understood and applied if we hope to experience joy and fulfillment in marriage. Ignoring these principles could result in failure and frustration in the marriage relationship.

Because we are committed to building strong marriages, we want to share the following guidelines. Our purpose is not to condemn or reject anyone, but to comply with God’s principles for marriage.

Marriage is a provision of God wherein one man and one woman to the exclusion of all others enter into a lifelong relationship [3] through a marriage ceremony that is recognized by the church and legally sanctioned by the state. Marriage establishes a “one-flesh” relationship [4] that goes beyond a physical union and is more than either a temporary relationship of convenience intended to provide personal pleasure or a contract that binds two people together in a legal partnership. Marriage establishes an emotional and spiritual oneness that enables both partners to respond to the spiritual, physical and social needs of the other. [5] It provides the biblical context for the procreation of children. Marriage is to be an exclusive relationship that is maintained in purity. [6] It is intended by God to be a permanent relationship. It is a witness to the world of the relationship between Christ and His church. Marriage requires a commitment of love, perseverance and faith. Because of its sanctity and permanence, marriage should be treated with seriousness and entered into only after counsel and prayer for God’s guidance. Christians should marry only those who are believers. [8] An individual who becomes a believer after marriage should remain with his/her partner in peace, and should give witness to the Gospel in the home. The Bible holds family life as a position of trust and responsibility. The home is a stabilizing force in society, a place of nurture, counsel, and safety for children. [10]

Marriage can only be broken by porneia, which is understood as marital unfaithfulness [11] involving adultery, homosexuality, or incest. While the Scriptures give evidence that the marriage vow and “one-flesh” union are broken by such acts and therefore recognize the breaking of the marriage relationship, the Scriptures do recommend that the most desirable option would be reconciliation. Sexual Purity

God created sex for marriage. God’s plan for sexuality is that all sexual activity to be reserved for marriage. Sexual purity has to be maintained as our body is the temple of God. Once a couple has entered into premarital preparation with Miracle Family Temple, they will agree to remain celibate and not live together at any time prior to the wedding ceremony. The minister will not perform the ceremony if the couple is living at the same address or not remaining celibate.

It is God’s will that you should be sanctified; that you should avoid sexual immorality; that each of you should learn to control his own body in a way that is holy and honorable, not in passionate lust like the heathen, who do not know God; for God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life. Therefore, he who rejects this instruction does not reject man but God, who gives you his Holy Spirit. [13]

In keeping with the Bible’s teaching on sex we ask couples to do the following:

Bride and groom must abstain from physical intimacy or living together. The Bible says that if anyone is “in Christ” they are being made “new” as their “old” life “passes away” (2 Corinthians 5:17). One important aspect of our new life in Christ is that of our sexuality. Sex is a gift from God, for He is the one who created it! Therefore, we must follow God’s directions regarding our sexuality. The Bible gives us clear instructions for sex within the parameters of the marriage relationship (2 Corinthians 6:3). God’s Word also gives us clear warnings and consequences when sex is used outside of the marriage.
If a sexual relationship has developed between the couple we ask that they abstain from all sexual activity until after the wedding ceremony.
If the unmarried couple is living together, we ask that they live separately and abstain from all sexual activity until the after the wedding ceremony.

Faith Commitment

PRIOR MARRIAGES:

Remarriage of divorced persons

Miracle Family Temple realizes that re-marriages are just as valid and sacred to God as first marriages. We desire to help your marriage with every opportunity to succeed. Therefore, divorced persons may be considered for marriage at Miracle Family Temple should they meet one of the criterion as per the standings of the ( Article 5.9.3 From Marriage and Position, PAOC, General Constitution and By-Laws (2014)

Remarriage is the union, legally sanctioned by the State, of one man and one woman, one or both of whom have been previously married. It is regarded as acceptable in Scripture in the event of the death of a former spouse. It is also regarded as acceptable if there has been sexual immorality on the part of the former partner or if the former partner has remarried. Divorce

We believe that divorce is not God’s intention. It is God’s concession to the “hardness of men’s hearts.” [14]

We, therefore, discourage divorce by all lawful means and teaching. Our objective is reconciliation and the healing of the marital union wherever possible. Marital unfaithfulness should not be considered so much an occasion or opportunity for divorce but rather an opportunity for Christian grace, forgiveness, and restoration. Divorce in our society is a termination of a marriage through a legal process authorized by the State. While the Church recognizes this legal process as an appropriate means to facilitate the permanent separation of spouses, the Church restricts the idea of divorce, in the sense of dissolution of marriage, to reasons specified in Scripture. The weight of the biblical record is negative and the explicit statement is made, “God hates divorce.” [15] Divorce is more than an action of the courts which breaks the legal contract between partners in a marriage. It is also the fracture of a unique human relationship between a male and a female. Divorce has profound consequences for the children. Divorce is evidence of the sinful nature expressed in human failure. Jesus gives one explicit cause for the dissolution of marriage: porneia or marital unfaithfulness. Where all attempts at reconciliation have failed and a divorce has been finalized, we extend Christ’s love and compassion.

Premarital Pregnancy

In case of premarital pregnancy, the marriage may or may not be performed depending on the maturity of the persons involved and other considerations. The final decision to perform the ceremony will be determined by the minister.

“Obey your leaders and submit to their authority. They keep watch over you as men who must give an account. Obey them so that their work will be a joy and not a burden, for that would be of no advantage to you.” [16]

MARRIAGE APPROVAL POLICIES:

What are the specific requirements to be married at Miracle Family Temple or by a Miracle Family Temple pastor?

BRIDE & GROOM QUESTIONNAIRES AND DOCUMENTS : The church provides you with this Wedding Policy, Bride and Groom Application forms. The prospective bride and groom must each fill o ut their respective form and return them to the church office. These will then be submitted to the Lead Pastor for review. A wedding date can be booked only after you have received formal approval for your wedding by the Wedding Approval Committee. For those who are intending to get married at Miracle Family Temple must contact the minister or his representative one year in advance and complete the necessary documents

PREMARITAL PREPARATION :

In order for our church to better prepare couples for a life-long marriage, all couples who desire to be married at Miracle Family Temple will agree to a minimum of six months of marital preparation, which will include:

Premarital counseling with the minister.
Taking a premarital inventory.
Participating in the inventory follow-up with the minister and/or mentor couple.
Couples must agree to at least 4 -6 sessions of pre-marital counseling by the minister with the understanding that the wedding date must be considered tentative upon the successful completion of counseling sessions.
A minister of Miracle Family Temple has the right to discontinue pre-marital counseling or cancel a wedding ceremony if there are legitimate grounds that a couple is unfit to be married in the eyes of God.

FACILITIES POLICIES:

Facility Availability

Due to the high demand for, and use of, our facilities, we need to give preference to members and regular adherents for the use of our facilities. Time slots are booked on a first come/first served basis.

Decoration

Miracle Family Temple has some wedding decor options that you may want to use, or incorporate into your own decor theme. In decorating the sanctuary, simplicity is best. The church will be opened one hour before the scheduled time of the wedding, and flowers may be delivered then. Candelabra (including candles) are available to be used in the sanctuary.

No nails, thumbtacks, or tape are to be used, however, florist’s wire may be used to hold decorations in place. Please be aware that there may be seasonal decorations in the church at the time of any wedding.

Reception

We urge couples to carefully consider ALL of what you would like to do at your reception in light of the following biblical principles, regardless of where the reception will be held:

All couples who wish to utilize the Kings Banquet Hall are not allowed to consume alcoholic beverages, play inappropriate music, or engage in immodest and sexually suggestive dance.
Additionally, the attire for those participating in the wedding must be modest and of good taste, as this ceremony is to take place in the House of the Lord. Often what is acceptable in our worldly culture in not appropriately reverent for the event of holy matrimony. To this end, we seek to honor the Name of Christ Jesus.
A couple from another church wishing to use our facility must accompany their application with an official letter from their church leadership explaining the church’s need to use our facility. The couple will need to meet all the above requirements and will also pay an representative to be present and coordinate logistics for the rehearsal and wedding

Rehearsal

A one-hour rehearsal is scheduled for weddings. The date of the rehearsal will be arranged with the officiating minister. The entire wedding party should attend.

Punctuality

Many church personnel are involved in the preparation of your wedding. Please treat them respectfully by being on time for your appointments, rehearsal and, of course, for the wedding ceremony

Fees

Use of the chapel, Kings hall for reception must pay $
Use of Miracle Family Temple sound system in the banquet hall additionally must pay $
Use of Miracle Family Temple sound system additionally must pay $, any video-taping requests must be made 30 days in advance with a cost of $200.00
It is usual for the pastor officiating at the rehearsal and ceremony to receive an Honorarium (payment.)
All members of Miracle Family Temple must pay a fee $250.00 for janitorial services concerning events/activities associated with the wedding.

Why Give

In the life and ministry of every Christian and Church, ‘giving’ is a very important discipline. Money (and of course other resources) and the Mission of the Church are inseparably connected. From this perspective, giving and stewardship are also intertwined. However, very few Christians have a proper, balanced biblical-theological understanding of giving and so not many give. Therefore, in this article we will focus on 1) the theology of giving and 2) a few principles and practical suggestions regarding the discipline of Christian giving.

The God of the Bible is a loving-giving God: We are linking loving and giving, because biblically speaking, true love is always giving and that is what God is. In fact, we cannot define the divine love (Gk. Agape) without the concept of giving. Agape, means “‘self-less and sacrificial self-giving’ for the sake of the ‘other’ without expecting anything in return.” The Bible says that God is love (1 John 4: 8 and 16) and that love comes from God (v. 7). Therefore, the God of the Bible is intrinsically, in His very nature, loving and that means He is a giving God.

The God of the Bible is the Holy Trinity, a community of three equal and eternally coexisting divine persons that share the same divine essence or nature. The three persons within the Trinity are eternally loving-giving one towards the other in their relationship.
Our Reasonable Response to God’s Love: For this great love of God towards us, our response should be ‘being filled with an attitude of gratitude’ and expressing it firstly by, ‘giving ourselves to the Lord totally’ or ‘living our lives completely for the sake of the one who died for our sake’. This is what Paul says in Romans 12: 1 and 2 Cor. 5: 14-15. He says in Romans, “I beseech you in view of God’s mercy, to offer you bodies or selves as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God – this is your spiritual or reasonable act of worship.” Anything other than this total giving of ourselves to the Lord (whole life worship) is not reasonable and acceptable.

Some Principles and Practical Suggestions for Christian-Biblical Giving: What is biblical is Christian and vice versa, for the Bible is the ultimate authority for Christians in all matters of faith/belief and conduct/behaviour. We will first look at some principles and then move to practical suggestions, all based on the Bible.

Some Principles of Christian-Biblical Giving: Firstly, since all good things belong to and come from God, we are simply stewards of what He allows us to have and use. As stewards, we are not owners and are accountable for the wise use of what has been entrusted to us, including the money (Psalm 24: 1; 50: 10-11; Hag. 2: 8; James 1: 16-18; Matt. 25: 14-30; Luke 19: 11-27). God is just as interested in how we manage what we keep as in what we give directly for His work.

Secondly, spiritual maturity is reflected in giving, because giving money is really a by-product or result of first giving ourselves to the Lord (2 Cor. 8: 1-5). Mature Christians understand that according to the NT, every Christian is a participating member of the church and gives a portion of his/her financial resources on a regular basis to carry out the ministry (1 Cor. 16: 1-2).

Thirdly, and lastly, it is not the amount that we give, but the proportion between what we give and what we keep and the attitude with which we give that matter, in Christian giving (2 Cor. 8: 1-15). Often the question of how Christian giving relates to the OT tithe is raised. In answering this question, several key biblical ideas should be kept in mind: 1) the concept of the tithe (giving the first tenth or 10%) is a pre-law practice (Gen. 14: 17-24; 28: 20-22; Heb. 7: 1-10), 2) the tithe was an integral part of the Mosaic law and could amount to about 30% for the Jews, if all the required tithes were met (Lev. 27: 30-32; Num. 18: 26-29; Mal. 3: 8-12), and 3) Jesus never abolished the tithe, but only taught that people should stop violating the concept of the tithe through misunderstanding, legalism, and abuse (Luke 11: 42 and 18: 9-14). So what should we conclude? There is nothing wrong in Christians giving a tenth or ‘tithe’ to the Lord, if that is the appropriate amount for them. But we should not be legalistic about it. However, each Christian or Christian family should decide both what percent to give to God and how to biblically manage and use the rest. The percent given to the Lord can all go to the local church or in appropriate situations be used for that and other ministry purposes. There will be greater clarity emerging on these principles as we move to the practical suggestions.
Some Practical Suggestions on Christian-Biblical Giving: We have to remember the ‘law of sowing and reaping’ and realize that finances are not an exception – “who ever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously” (2 Cor. 9: 6). Keeping this at the back of our minds, let us now look at some practical suggestion drawn mainly from Paul’s teaching (2 Cor. 8-9; Matt. 6: 1-4; 1 Cor. 16: 1-2). We should all learn or discipline ourselves to give,
In proportion to our income or how the Lord has prospered us,
Regularly, willingly, joyfully/cheerfully, and without compulsion,
Sacrificially, gratefully, generously, and purposefully,
For God’s approval and not for men’s applause – our giving should be in secret.

If we really want to give biblically, then we have to work hard with the help of the Holy Spirit and overcome the following hindrances to biblical giving (Matt. 6: 24-34; Mark 4 19; Luke 12: 13-21; 16: 13-15; 1 Tim. 6: 3-10 and 19-19; Heb. 13: 5).

Selfishness and Deceitfulness of wealth,
Fear of not having enough left and lack of trust in God,
Love of money and lack of love for God,
Secular or this-worldly mindset and desire for other things,
Unwise financial decisions and management and too much debt,
Extravagant lifestyle (often a result of trying to match with others).

Conclusion

To be loving-giving is to be like God who is loving-giving. To be made more Christ/God-like in every area of life (including giving) is the essence of sanctification (Romans 8: 29; 1 John 2: 6; 2 Cor. 3: 18). Therefore, if we are growing Christians, then there has to be a corresponding growth in our giving of time, talents and treasures to God and for His work. May the Lord help us all to excel in the grace of giving (2 Cor. 8: 7) and thus become more like Him. If we are biblical in our thinking about life, we know that we take nothing with us when we die and leave this world. This knowledge should make us wiser to use all our resources to further God’s purposes and to meet our family’s reasonable needs (Luke 12: 20-21; Job 1: 20-21; Eccl. 5: 15). In fact, how we use what God has entrusted to us demonstrates where our heart really is or what we value most. Money and material things are neutral – it is our attitude towards and use of them that reflects our true spiritual condition. May God enable us (you and me) to be more biblically spiritual in our attitude towards and use of all our resources, particularly money and material.
